The love of riding motorcycles: We have all traveled different paths. We’ve found riding in different ways, yet we have all arrived at the same destination. The destination is the journey. The journey is riding.
Those of us who share a passion for riding get it. We understand each other on a different level than the rest of society. No amount of eloquent wording could explain what we feel to those who haven’t shared the experience.
Some of us were raised around motorcycles. Others found them later in life. Nonetheless, I bet all of us enjoyed riding bicycles when we were little.
Studies have shown the brain activity of fighter pilots and motorcycle riders to be similar. I believe we all have an element of thrill seeker in our genes. We find freedom in motion. A since of solace comes over us as we hold a line through a curve. Accelerating, changing lanes, passing – Motor vehicle operation basics can be so much more on a bike. They can provide true happiness as well as instant gratification.
When I think deeper, I believe that riders have a passion for motion. Motorcycles are the chosen avenue we use to experience that passion.
As our love of motion becomes focused on motorcycles, the element of self expression becomes prevalent.
