The 2022 model has a different body profile and lines from the updated, larger gas tank. The K9 now has 5.7 gallon capacity, which is an increase from the previous 4.4 gallon tank.
The paint was a collaboration between Big Dog Motorcycles’ own Ed Williamson and local painter Brandon Johnson.
Ed has been with Big Dog since 2005 and Brandon was also a painter at the original Big Dog during its heyday.

The Black Honeycomb 2022 Big Dog Motorcycles K9 has an S&S 124 cubic inch V-twin with a 6-speed Jim’s Transmission. It was built by Brandon Bastow and apprentice builder Chris Branda… Brandon Bastow started with Big Dog originally in Summer of 2006
The setting of the riding video is Wichita, Kansas, near the Big Dog Motorcycles factory. The parked bike shots were captured right outside of Brandon B’s space in the shop, where it was built.
